I can’t say enough about Barntucket. This quaint property was perfectly located between the town and beach, which are both within easy walking distance. The property was perfect for two families with two kitchens and five bedrooms. The house is well-equipped for just about anything. The back patio was perfect for relaxing, sleeping, lounging or a cookout. The floor plan was perfect for relaxation, family time or privacy. We loved every minute of our stay and will definitely be back for another memorable vacation.

My wife and I were fortunate to spend a few days at Barntucket in June, 2014. The home included five bedrooms, three bathrooms, two kitchens, and a variety of living/dining areas. We couldn’t have more pleased with the condition of the home; it’s cleanliness, gourmet kitchen, indoor porch, and exterior patio. Probably one of the more unique aspects of Barntucket was it’s charm. A good mix of hard and soft seating coupled with numerous antiques and collectibles make this once functional barn a great retreat. Barntucket is located in a quite residential neighborhood and is within walking distance to downtown Nantucket and the beach. Management was very professional and helpful. We sincerely hope to return.

We were invited by our friends to Nantucket and we stayed at BARNTUCKET for four days late in June ( 6/25 – 6/28). The location was absolutely perfect for walking to the beach and into town for shopping. Our friends were on the first floor of the house, we were on the second floor so everyone had privacy in the evening. It was a very enjoyable and relaxing stay. We look forward to returning to BARNTUCKET in the future.

What a perfect, charming week at Barntucket! It could not have been more comfortable or accommodating. The house was perfect for two families with a total of five kids. It was completely appointed with just about anything we would need in the kitchen, for the beach or just hanging out in the beautiful yard /patio palying games or having cocktails. We walked and biked everywhere because the location was so perfect to town and the beaches. We will be back to Barntucket hopefully sooner than later!

I just spent the most fantastic week at Barntucket. When we ate in, we had every imaginable device to cook with including a super gas grill that made terrific steaks and salmon. When we ate out we could walk to town. I am 70 years old and had no problem negotiating the 15 minute walk to town where we found excellent restaurants.
We had covered lounge chairs plus umbrella table with chairs on a lovely side patio with which we could play in the sun and enjoy evening BBQs. Barntucket has 5 bedrooms and a fully developed kitchen upstairs. It made for much privacy for our group of two couples. Overall, Barntucket was my best stay ever on the island and I can’t wait to return!

The property is immaculate and House even more.
The bedrooms worked out wonderful and main area’s are just as magnificent.

I have stayed at many places with VRBO and this was by far the most charming and wonderful experience. The house is a short walk to town and exquisite. There is a wonderful gourmet kitchen, all the rooms are beautiful with special personal touches that make you feel you are in your own home only better! The beds are comfortable and bathrooms large bright and clean. The amenities back patio, and grounds are beautifully manicured. This is truly a retreat and treat all would enjoy. Plenty of room for the family and privacy with two floors and plenty of mirrors to get dressed for a wedding!

Just a quick bike ride (our favorite mode of travel) from downtown, Barntucket offered our family exactly what we were looking for. We have two young girls (4 and 8) who loved everything about the house – the variety of beautiful rooms, the tree in the backyard, the porch, the huge dining table. We loved the comfort of the house, the kitchen with its nice compliment of cookware, the quality of furnishings, the landscaping, the outdoor shower and the proximity to Steps Beach and shopping. We truly cannot wait to return later in the season.

I experienced Nantucket for the first time for a New Year’s experience and enjoyed my stay from
12/29-1/2/2012.
The wonderful gourmet kitchen was put to good use, and had a dinner party for 10,
All the guest thought this was the best New Year’s Eve Party that they had ever attended.

After our third stay here – We wonder why we ever go anywhere else! Even though it was only 2 of us and we didn’t use all the available rooms, we are in heaven when we are at Barntucket. We especially love the large dining table where a puzzle can be in progress and still have room to enjoy our gourmet meals from the extraordinarily well-equipped kitchen. The entire place is beyond charming with every possible size dishes, platters, bowls and tureens aching to be used! The huge amount of Nantucket information in the house is convenient for making plans and the internet works very well. It is an easy walk into town although during our last visit we were very lazy and hardly left the house. This is really a unique and exceptional property.
